Spik Briket: Low Calorie Coals Technological Treatment in Order to Obtain Cheap and High Caloric Coal Dust

Spik Briket developed a simple, safe and economical innovative solution for increasing caloric value of dried coal dust, while the rest of the substance is used for the production of lignite briquettes. The essence of “SPIK” technology lies in optimizing the cutting and drying process of coal, where caloric value is increased up to two times by using a special energy-efficient dehumidifying process. Main users of this technology will be energy systems with high quantity of coal dust waste, briquette producers and small producers of energy/heat which add coal dust into biomass.
