Са циљем да се иновације из Србије интегришу у припрему и реализацију једног од најзначајнијих међународних догађаја, Фонд за иновациону делатност је кроз програм ExpoTech подржао 21 пројекат иновативних предузећа. У наредних девет месеци, у оквиру подржаних пројеката развијаће се технолошка решења за EXPO 2027 у Београду, која ће бити представљена и демонстрирана у оквиру ExpoTech павиљона.

Brussels today brought together representatives of European institutions and innovation organisations at the event “The Future of Science and Innovation in Serbia – Driving European Growth and Global Visibility,” organised by the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. The event was held as Serbia marks fifteen years of institutional support for innovation and in anticipation of the specialised exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade.

In recent years, Serbia’s startup ecosystem has experienced strong growth, while the Katapult acceleration program has established itself as a key support mechanism enabling innovative companies to scale and access global markets.

Composting: From Waste to New Value

Safe food begins with quality processing. This is the value to which Popadić Komerc, a company from Kragujevac, has been dedicated for more than two decades, building its position as a reliable processor and supplier of cereals and grain-based products on the domestic market. Their production process, from the selection of raw materials to final distribution, is based on the commitment to ensure that every grain is safe, healthy, and nutritious for the final consumer.

In anticipation of the Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, the Innovation Fund is launching the ExpoTech Program, a new support instrument aimed at developing and implementing cutting-edge technological solutions that showcase Serbia’s strong innovation ecosystem and growing technological potential.

The Innovation Fund announces the fifth public call for the Smart Start Program, intended for promising teams who wish to develop their first prototype and offer innovative solutions to contemporary market challenges. The application deadline is November 14, 2025, at 12:00 (noon).

The Katapult Acceleration Program is once again open to innovative startups with the potential for growth, scaling, and international market entry. The Innovation Fund invites all eligible members of the startup community with sustainable, innovation-based solutions and a clearly defined vision for further business development to apply to the fifth public call by October 13, 2025.
