Economical heat exchangers with application in pasteurization of organic waste (biomass)

Serbian design and manufacturing company Mont Stubline and Danish company DenHeat ApS have been very active in the organic waste recycling industry since 2010, supplying and installing components to leading European biomass plant builders. Experience and industry-specific know-how gathered during the process were used to begin development of a specialized heat exchanger dedicated to biomass. This design was developed to meet the industry requirement for a high performance heat exchanger aimed to process „thick“ fluids which will improve energy efficiency, reduce fouling and clogging issues and make regular maintenance possible and cost-effective. The academic partner on this project is the Faculty of mechanical engineering from the University of Belgrade.
